Senior Consultant Insights London 6 month Contract (May go permanent)
Senior Consultant Insights and Innovation. Senior Consultant with an experience in an insight centric role within an Innovation Consultancy. The role will be focussed on Business Research (Secondary and Primary), Analytics, Report Writing and Project Management.
You will be part of the Strategic Marketing team responsible for the timely and efficient completion of project tasks, this will involve:
Business research
• Secondary research: ability to find relevant sources of information and extract the key findings in a timely and efficient manner
• Primary research: ability to recruit key for interviews and extract the key points of discussion
Analytics
• Analysing complex quantitative data sets
• Analysing dense qualitative information and finding patterns and trends that lead to recommendations for the client
Report writing
• Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data in order to produce well written final client documents including logical summary conclusions and recommendations using good business English
• Consistently deliver high quality output that meets / exceeds client expectations.
Project management
• Responsibility for leading project components
• Demonstrate a good depth & breadth of skills and capabilities to the extent that you are able to effectively project manage others & transfer skills.

Requirements
• Preferably 3+ years of consulting experience within a top management, strategy or innovation consultancy
• The intellectual demands of this role require a minimum of a 2:1 and previous strong academics
• Be an outstanding team player both in terms of overall attitude and ability to take on a variety of roles
• Ability to work with limited guidance/supervision and independently manage projects
• Proficiency in primary and secondary research and experience with at least 4 of the following area in a consultancy setting: NPD, market sizing, innovation research, competitive benchmarking, scenario planning, market and competitor analysis, trend analysis, GTM experience
• Strong ability to generate qualitative insights
• Complete fluency in English and preferably a good working knowledge of one European foreign language (German, French, Spanish, Italian)
• The capacity for creativity and original thinking

Must have:
• Innovation & Experience
• Qual analysis skills
• Foresight and trend analysis experience
• Idea and concept facilitation
• Experience of working with quant research teams for concept testing
• Service and experience design experience
• Must have come from an insight centric role within an innovation consultancy, (or division of large diversified agency)

Remuneration
• £45K+ dependant on level of experience
