Description Acorn Recruitment is looking to recruit a Customer Services Advisor to work for a busy and expanding reputable manufacturing company.
You will answer incoming telephone calls with the purpose of providing information & advice and input orders onto the system.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take orders via the phone
Progress chase
Inform customers of delays / problems
Offer advice on products
Offer information on promotions / campaigns
Help to resolve issues
Liaise with the sales force
Input hard copy orders
Each Advisor receives about 140 telephone calls per day, on average the call lasts 2 minutes
Volume of product input onto system via the phone per year in excess of 750 k.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
PC literate
Knowledge of different Windows, experience of using a mouse
Experience with Microsoft Office
Good keyboard skills
Good, confident telephone manner and good communication skills

The role is evolving as new systems and software are added and changed. The demands placed upon the Customer Services Advisor are more diverse than ever before with the Advisor being able to answer questions on many different aspects of the business. A great deal of training and knowledge is required to perform this task effectively.
