Description		Main Purpose of Job �P To operate the switchboard and provide an efficient, helpful and professional service to all incoming and outgoing callers �P To provide customer reception duties ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction ............................................................................................................................................................ Duties and Responsibilities �P Provide a prompt, courteous and professional response to all incoming callers using the standard format advised by management �P Direct calls quickly and accurately, ensuring all messages are logged and passed at the earliest opportunity �P Obtain outside telephone numbers/ maintain a Dealership directory and record all outgoing calls via the switchboard �P Record all incoming ��enquiry�� calls to Car Sales �P Listen and use tact and initiative in dealing with customer complaints/ unusual situations �P Respond quickly and efficiently to all emergencies (fire/accident) and make the appropriate call �P Ensure any faults in the telephone system are reported as appropriate and corrected promptly �P Courteously welcome all vistors to the Dealership, qualify their requirements and direct to the appropriate department �P Ensure the reception area is kept clean at all times �P Ensure than an effective handover procedure is adhered to �P Attend training courses as required ...........................................................................................
