An exciting career opportunity has arisen within an established company for a Telephone Debt Controller.

The role is based a rural location, on the outskirts of Stratford Upon Avon.

The starting salary is £13,250 rising to £14,250 after successful probation period.

This role is a telephone based debt collections role, you will be using your negotiation skills and telephone skills to collect arrears on peoples accounts.

Responsibilities:

- You will be contacting debtors and either taking immediate payment or discussing the best payment structure for each individual case.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Comply with all Service Level Agreements and ensuring that the Data Protection legislation and all other legal requirements are met and adhered to.
- Record information obtained onto inhouse computer systems, with attention to detail.

The Successful Candidate:

-The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Customer Service environment, either face-to-face or telephone based.
-May also suit somebody with a stong retail background.
-Good written and verbal communication skills as well as being computer literate.
-Candidates for the role should will have an approachable personality and will be target driven.
-You will enjoy a challenge and be able to work in an environment which is constantly evolving.
-The work involves liaising with debtors to arrange for the collection of balances of outstanding debt and this will involve setting up payment terms with debtors to ensure the payments are made on time.
-Due to the nature of this role successful candidates will be CRB checked and Credit Checked.

This role is based in the outskirts of Stratford-Upon-Avon, which is commutable from Alcester, Studley, Redditch, Evesham, Leamington and surrounding areas. Due to the location candidates will have to have their own transport.
