An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Manager to work for a forward thinking FTSE100 company based in Bedfordshire and the Thames Valley

The organisation provides Management Information Solutions for Schools and Local Authorities. It's SIMS software is used in over 22,000 schools nationwide. SIMS Customer Services is responsible for delivery of Support Contracts and Managed Service Contracts to approximately 3,000 schools.

The key purpose of this role is to build relationships with customers so that business is retained and increased wherever possible. The postholder will work with schools in the Bedfordshire and Thames Valley area, taking ownership of some customers and working directly to the NCSM with others.

The role will be based in Bedford and 80% of the role will be visiting schools in the Bedfordshire and Thames Valley Area.

Candidates should be a good communicator who has proven experience of Customer Relationship Management, have an understanding of schools’ MIS, have experience of the education market and be able to deliver excellent presentations at a professional level
