Salary : £17500 Basic - OTE 25K although uncapped

Hours : 40 hours a week : working hours between 10am and 8pm Monday to Friday

Key Duties
-Work in partnership with an Account Manager
-Speaking to the customers after the Account Manager has made the initial contact and generated a commitment
-Complete an application over the telephone with the customer .asking them for bank details, medical information and questions related to their application
-After completing the application you will make sure the customer understands the next steps involved in moving their policy forward
-Liaise with insurance companies to make sure the application goes through in a reasonable timescale
-Liaise with third parties to collate information and gather relevant paperwork to successfully process the application
-Updating customers on the progress of their application
-Using the insurance companies extranets
-Making follow up calls to customers once they have taken out a policy to ensure they are happy
-Making calls to customers who have cancelled their policy to try and find them an alternative policy which suits their needs
-Managing time effectively to ensure all callbacks to customers are done at the agreed time and all work is kept up to date
-Any other duties reasonably requested by your Line Manager.
The ideal candidate
-Have worked in a telesales/phone based customer service role
-Will be career driven – must have been in sales or customer service in the last 3 months
-Will be a consistent over achiever
-Have the hungry to succeed
-Have a great personality that leaves a lasting impression
-Must be IT literate
Previous experience within insurance/ life insurance would be a huge advantage but not essential
