Showsec International is an award winning event security specialist who are currently looking for qualified SIA's to be part of our talented security team for the highest profiled events in the UK.

Showsec are looking for Licensed SIA door Supervisors to work at the London Live Events in the summer of 2012. With capacity crowds of up to 88,000 visitors, a combination of multiple state-of-the-art screens and concert quality sound systems will show all of the London 2012 action. Everything from sports participation activities, live music and cultural entertainment will be on offer at Hyde Park, Victoria Park and Trafalgar Square every day until late evening, so get involved!

There may also be the opportunity to work before and after London Live at Download Festival, Bestival, Creamfields, Wireless Festival, Hard Rock Calling, Bloodstock and Lovebox to name but a few.

Position: SIA Security Staff
Interview Locations: London, Nottingham, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and other regions nationally.
Salary: £11 p/h

ROLE:
The role of the SIA Licensed Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of people, equipment, premises and property. They will be responsible for security and crowd management requirements of high profile events, maintaining a good corporate Image and a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Managing visitor arrival.
b) Screening and searching visitors.
c) Static site security.
d) Sponsor and hospitality security.
e) Backstage and Front of stage security.
f) Incident response team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Previous experience as a SIA Licensed Door supervisor or similar.
b) SIA licence required (Door Supervision).
c) Confident and able to deal with conflict.
d) Approachable, patient, courteous and polite.
e) Able to anticipate others needs and deliver world-class service levels.
f) Clear communication skills.
g) Willing to help colleagues and members of the public.
h) Fit to work for long periods to support customers.
i) Able to follow requests and work under pressure.

You may have experience of the following:

Security Officer, SIA Licence, Security Guard, Site Patrol Officer, Mobile Security Officer, Security Receptionist, Security Agent, Event Security , Corporate Security Officer, Security Staff, Security Industry Authority, Event Staff, etc.
