Description Our client is a family owned major player in the Express Pallet Distribution sector processing up to 2300 pallets per night within our own network of depots and sub-contractors strategically placed to support our network.

Working for one of the busiest palletised distribution companies in the North West, you will be responsible for delivering effective planning solutions which achieve both customer delivery performance targets and optimal utilisation of the fleet.

With a strong background in a similar role and excellent geographical knowledge of Manchester, North Merseyside, Lancashire and South Cumbria you will have the ability to ensure minimum empty running over approximately 25 vehicles. Experience of using traffic planning software, ideally Mandata is required.

It is also essential that you possess a good working knowledge of tachograph and RTD working time regulations, with sound experience of planning and scheduling busy routes.

You should be a team player, resilient and flexible with good communication skills. The ability to build working relationships with internal and external colleagues/customers is essential.
