Description		Our client, a major global player in International Freight Forwarding, now have an exciting opportunity for an exports customer service clerk to work within the sea freight exports division in their Manchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organisation. Working on the Customer Services Section dealing with Exports your duties will include, quotations, documentation and export bookings to the Far and Middle East, the Americas, Australasia and Mediterranean. Agreeing rates with customers, instruct central operations, track & control bookings and ensure Bills of Lading & invoice instructions are dispatched correctly/promptly. Your role will involve you being a local contact & liaison point with existing customers. In order to apply for this exciting opportunity you will have experience gained from within an ocean freight operations role although working on the exports desk my client will consider a Deep Sea freight exports or imports background. You will be innovative, have good IT skills coupled with an excellent telephone manner.
