Description A rapidly expanding food group with several manufacturing sites across the UK, our client has developed a number of famous brands and have ambitious plans for further expansion. They now seek to recruit a dynamic and resourceful warehouse shift manager at their busy NDC in Peterborough.
Principal responsibilities include;
o Managing all operational activities on your shift, ensuring that demanding KPIs are achieved through highly motivated and productive teams.
o Developing, motivating and controlling your team of Team Leaders and warehouse colleagues.
o Implementation of continuous improvement programmes.
o Ensuring high standards of customer service, productivity and accuracy.
o Liaise with manufacturing sites, supply chain and transport teams.
o Providing detailed warehouse performance analysis of operation on weekly/monthly basis.
o Actively looking at ideas to improve the warehouse operation.

You will have;
o Excellent management, leadership and communication skills gained within a fast paced distribution centre or warehouse.
o Planning, organisational and problem solving skills.
o The ability to deliver cultural change.
o ‘A’ levels or a degree, or similar qualifications.
o Strong IT skills.

Reporting to the depot site manager, working hours are based on early and late shifts, 5/7 with a need for flexibility. Career development opportunities are excellent as the company continues to expand.
