MVP’s client is a market leading supplier and requires a Workshop Supervisor to plan and organise all maintenance, repairs, MOT Tests and insurance tests as required by their Vehicle Engineering Policy.
• Manage all members of the Workshop team on daily basis
• Manage all vehicle fleet maintenance at several locations
• Ensure manpower and facilities are used in the most cost effective manner.
• Manage setting & control of workshop budget
• Liaise with VOSA on all matters relating to the fleet maintenance schedules
• Respond to company emergencies and breakdowns as and when required
• Develop, train and motivate staff ensuring the correct level of knowledge and customer service is maintained
• Manage & control the computerised maintenance & purchasing systems to ensure stocks are controlled and reviewed in accordance with company policy

The successful candidate must have completed an apprenticeship and hold a certificate in mechanical and/or vehicle engineering.
The candidate should also be a team player, self motivated and have excellent communication and management skills.
