Description		Fleet Engineering Manager � Southern England c �33,000 + company vehicle + excellent benefits 9621ZH Based South East/ South West/South Midlands MVP is currently recruiting a Fleet Engineering Manager on behalf of a well known, rapidly expanding high street retailer. The Fleet Engineering Manager will provide support to the divisional Transport and Logistics management teams based in the south, ensuring a cost effective and compliant light/heavy vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in developing and implementing systems which will drive higher standards and keep costs in line with budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities � Ensure the commercial fleet runs safely, legally and cost efficiently � Operate within VOSA and H & S guidelines for all aspects of vehicle maintenance � Support and conduct commercial evaluations with local and national suppliers and service agents to drive higher standards whilst controlling costs. � Manage specific group projects through direct involvement with local management teams � Utilise fleet support software within base and visiting divisions � Identify and establish commercial support and services through competitive national and local service agents Regular travel and overnight stays will be required as part of this role. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with large commercial vehicles, an understanding of legal implications regarding fleet operation and proven budget setting and accounting skills.
