Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader

My client a leading international supplier of concentrates and dispensing systems is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse/Stores Supervisor. You will be responsible for oversee the day to day running of a small warehouse managing a team of 3. As well as warehouse duties the position will involve servicing dispensers on site (1-2 times a week) and occasionally installing the units. A company van will be provided for this. Duties include; Organising outside contract engineers and booking jobs and arranging workloads, planning daily workloads for the warehouse staff, conducting disciplinary procedures and carrying out appraisals etc, stock checking, weekly ordering, pick and pack duties, oversee around 70 orders a day, health & safety responsibilities, dealing with couriers and some occasional 7.5 ton driving. Ideal experience needed to carry out this position; A Counterbalance licence, although a refresher course can be taken if needs be. Mechanical assembly experience. Team leader/supervisor experience with a hands on approach with some admin knowledge. Systems used are Outlook, an in-house CRM system, and web portal for couriers. Essential attributes; Customer focused, assertive, self motivated and a company ambassador. Hours 8:30-5pm salary 20-22k. Lunch will be provided each day. Pension scheme. There will be training on dispensers initially so you should be prepared to spend a few days in Holland.
