Description		Skills for Life Tutor - Essex - �20,000 - �22,000 - 33P MILEAGE Do you have experience working a a basic skill tutor / Skills for Life Tutor? One of the UK's fast growing work based learning training providers is looking for a Skills for Life Tutor to join their team in Essex, Colchester. Travelling out into different hospitality venues you will be required to deliver Numeracy and Literacy to learners. The Role: To support, tutor and assess a caseload of learners in literacy and/or numeracy either individually or in groups, to enable them to complete their apprenticeship or other learning plan by: - Carrying out diagnostic assessment for learners with potential literacy and numeracy needs and devise a work-based learning plan in liaison with the employer and other area staff - Deliver, support and assess basic skills qualifications where required - Provide guidance, mentoring, motivation and confidence building to the learner, their work place supervisor and their employer as required The ideal candidate will have experience delivering Literacy and or Numeracy to groups or individuals. It is important that the candidate is able to work independently based from home managing their own diary going out into the work place to visit learners. A drivers licence is a must.
