Description		Development Manager/ Project Manager / Qualification Development / Education Cambridge Salary �31,000 - �35,000 Our client is one of the three UK-wide awarding bodies, offering qualifications to learners of all ages and abilities through 13,000 schools, colleges and other institutions. They are now looking for a proactive and tenacious motivator to join their Qualifications Development Division as a Development Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the development of the company�s qualifications. You will ultimately manage the development and pilots of qualifications, the associated processes and the staff deployed to carry out the functions within the division. Managing the team of Development Project Officers, you will direct, improve and maintain the product development plan and process, providing key information to peers and ensuring qualification developments and pilots are delivered to time, cost and quality. With your excellent communication skills, you will build and maintain strong links with both external bodies, and internal bodies alike with colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality processes and reporting mechanisms to support effective product development. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of project management principles coupled with experience of delivering cross-divisional projects and negotiating with peers to achieve shared goals. With an understanding of the education sector, you will ideally have knowledge of awarding bodies and regulators within the system. Experience of controlling and analysing budgets would be advantageous and you will need the ability to deal with people at all levels, motivating and persuading when necessary.
