My client is looking for an enthusiastic ans experienced Nursery Manager for their 88 place nursery in Chiswick.

Role purpose

To provide a child centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating way ensuring their individual needs are met within the group setting.
To deliver the required care standards and educational programme on an ongoing basis.
To meet the occupancy and revenue targets set and manage all operating costs to ensure the continued profitability of the nursery.
To deliver childcare in a way that meets parents needs and works in partnership with them providing high levels of customer care at all times.
• The day to day responsibility for the operational management of the nursery in line with the policies and procedures.
• Managing the occupancy levels and nursery budgets to guarantee the profitability of the nursery.
• To effectively lead and manage a staff team be responsible for all health and safety issues within the nursery to ensure that the Health and Safety Policy is complied with at all times.

Qualifications, training and experience required:


NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
An ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Prepared to undertake professional development, as appropriate.
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent communication organisational skills
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
Financial management experience
