Teachers UK was founded in 1997 and has well established relationships with Secondary schools in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire. We require Cover Supervisors to work in various Secondary Schools in Derby & Derbyshire from January to cover planned and unplanned staff absences. The work may become permanent for the right candidates. Duties will include taking the class registers, handing out pre-planned work, ensuring the pupils adhere to the discipline policy and collecting the work at the end of the lesson. You could be allocated to work in a number of subject departments and support will be given by head of departments and teaching assistants. Applications are welcome from experienced cover supervisors, teaching assistants, Graduates and people with a background in working with children. You will need to be a confident individual who enjoys the challenge of working with secondary age pupils. We offer Free CRB checks, excellent pay rates and a variety of work.
