Trainee NVQ Assessor - Early Years - Part-time ( 3 days a week ) - Devon, Exeter / Barnstaple - £8602

Do you have experience working in a Pre School / Nursery? Are you keen to become an NVQ Assessor?

We are currently looking for a Trainee NVQ Assessor to deliver Early Years NVQ qualifications in the Devon, Exeter / Barnstaple area. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential. Previous assessing experience is not essential. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a career change, and the opportunity to work for a large organisation who can provide full support in obtaining the D32/33/A1 qualifications.

Your NVQ Assessor responsibilities will include:

- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their NVQ qualifications
- Maintaining documentation on learners' records
- Liasing with Learners, Verifiers and Management
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards

This role will suit an excellent communicator who has experience working in a PreSchool / Nursery with an NVQ qualification level 3. It is essential that you are able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling within the Devon, Exeter / Barnstaple region to visit different workplaces.

- Basic starting salary of 18,819 pro rata totalling £8,602

- 40p per mile when travelling on business
