Superb opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer in the Welfare to Work industry to take an established charity training provider to a new level of business activity.
Parkhouse Bell is working with this charity who have helped improve the lives of thousands across the South UK area by breaking the cycle of unemployment so that people can take positive control of their lives and build a brighter future. They are looking for a Bid Writer to join their successful business development team in SW London.
The overall purpose of the role is manage the bid and tender processes for new business opportunities by researching and writing winning bids.
The successful applicant must have the following attributes and experience:
- Bid preparation and writing experience
- Knowledge of Government contracting process
- Self motivated to work to deadlines
- Exceptional Written skills in English
Furthermore, preferably the successful applicant should be competent in problem solving and decision-making skills; organised and used to working to systems and procedures; have a background in research; good networking and interpersonal and communication skills at all levels; a background in marketing and business planning experience. Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in bid writing within the W2W sector, however, applications from bid writers from other sectors will also be seriously considered.
The salary is circa £40k with flexible location.
