The company
Our client is a private equity backed training and education group formerly part of a major corporation. This organisation has established itself as a major brand within the training and education sector over many decades and is now seeking to leverage it's brand equity with a development programme which will be both organic and driven through acquisition.

The strategic plan will culminate in a wealth creation event which will include all major stakeholders.

The Role
Be the architect and driving force behind the development of the company's business strategy which will detail the diversification and expansion of the company both in the UK and internationally.

Lead and develop the executive management team which will meet the agenda of growth and value creation through the delivery of the agreed business strategy.

Drive a cultural change throughout the organisation to create a more entrepreneurial culture which will in turn facilitate a more flexible and customer driven focus.

Working closely and interfacing with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring that all parties pull together to achieve the common goals.

Review potential acquisition targets and front the build and buy component of the business strategy.

Candidate Profile
Must have a clear demonstrable track record of success gained as a CEO / Managing Director of a significant education and training provider working within the public / private sector environment.

Must possess vision, leadership and the ability to genuinely making things happen within a large and complex organisation, preferably with an international dimension.

Must be commercially astute, be hands on and able to develop relationships at all levels.
