Description		Job Reference Q201 Analogue IC Designer - Audio Circuits Role Designer within in the analogue peripherals group to design our next-generation embedded audio systems from system level through transistor level to, in some cases, physical level. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the architecture of our future audio systems as well as carrying out transistor level design of parts of these systems. This designer would also be overseeing less experienced designers who are implementing other parts of such systems. The cells involved typically include amplifiers, sigma-delta converters, filters and drivers. There will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to extend their activities into other areas of design which he or she may be interested in and is considered to be suitable for. Experience The applicant should have an excellent knowledge of transistor level design of integrated CMOS circuits. In-depth experience of low-voltage / low power, low noise and low distortion design and compensation techniques is necessary. A good knowledge of sigma-delta converters and system modelling is also required. Some knowledge of layout techniques and process technology is also expected.
