Description		EDA/DFM Leader � Cambridge � up to �72,000 pa � Qualifications - Masters Degree or PhD physics, electronics or related field � Hands-on industry EDA experience with in depth knowledge of DFM � Sound, demonstrated knowledge & experience/proficiency of EDA/DFM � DFM trends � Knowledge of semiconductor industry trends in EDA & DFM including design flow � Capable of delivering an efficient & flexible mixed-signal custom design environment across disparate design teams maximising COMPANY benefit from EDA investments. � Demonstrated leadership skills � Excellent written & communication skills � Self starter & self driven � Team leader/member skills � Problem solving skills � Knowledge of statistical analysis an advantage The successful candidate will: � Own/drive COMPANY EDA/DFM strategy & deployment working with key COMPANY groups � Keep up to date with technology trends � Coordinate training/awareness as required � Ensure EDA & DFM deliverables to R&D meet COMPANY deployment/quality requirements including ensuring that the design flow is current with industry best practices � Responsible for the COMPANY EDA/DFM roadmap � Be the EDA/DFM interface with foundry(ies) & EDA suppliers � Ensure key COMPANY EDA/DFM "care-abouts" are included/covered � Ensure technology design kits [DDKs] cover COMPANY requirements/needs � Manage trade-offs working closely with COMPANY internal groups & foundry(ies) group(s) & EDA suppliers � Work with R&D, IS & PDK teams to successfully integrate EDA/DFM into the COMPANY design flow � Work also with external providers when required � Support technology PDK releases � Support PDK definition & validation to meet release schedules � Liase with IS to improve overall service & environment for designers If this job interests you, and you are a suitable candidate then please APPLY NOW
