Description		Process Technologist � Cambridge � up to �60,000 pa Process Technologist - BEOL � Qualifications - Degree or Masters/PhD � Hand s-on industry experience with in depth knowledge of 90nm, and 65nm CMOS technologies, with 45nm an advantage � Understand ing of advanced node BEOL integration schemes including challenges and solutions � Strong Copper/Low k process integration of advanced CMOS technologies � Analog and RF passives - example MOM/MIM capacitor and inductor � Design rule rationale and trade-offs � Dual and single copper damascene integration knowledge/experience � Yield and reliability failure modes and solutions � Limited yield (LY) and Fail Rate (FR) concepts a distinct advantage, but not essential � Defect monitoring/reduction and failure analysis � Detailed knowledge of BEOL process modules � Example copper seed/plating and CMP. � Knowledge of semiconductor industry trends an advantage � Knowledge of FEOL integration an advantage but not essential � Excellent written and communication skills � Self starter and self driven � Team leader/player skills � Excellent problem solving skills � Strong statistical analysis skills particularly SPC. � The successful candidate will � Work with the COMPANY FEOL process technologist(s), COMPANY design groups and Business Units to determine optimum technology performance and process options that meet COMPANY business needs � Manage trade-offs � Work with foundry and COMPANY technical teams to ensure that COMPANY technical requirements are highlighted and driven � Manage trade-offs � Work with COMPANY Foundry group in support of production where applicable and necessary/required � Including transfer of technology when initial COMPANY products are run If this job interests you, and you are a suitable candidate then please APPLY NOW
