Description		My client is a well established company specializing in designing, writing software, installing and commissioning factory control systems to companies worldwide. We require an experienced control systems engineer, specializing in database application software. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: -Program Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005 (select, insert, update) -Program T-SQL (stored procedures, functions) -Develop SCADA applications (screens, scripts, database interfacing) -Design and write Allen Bradley PLC control system software -Produce required documentation (e.g. functional design specifications, manuals) -Carry out testing and acceptance with customer -Commissioning of systems -Train customer maintenance and operator staff You will have at least three years of relevant proven specialized work experience of at least NVQ level 3. You need to be highly motivated, with excellent communication and organization skills. You need to take a creative approach to problem solving, and work well under pressure. The following experience would be of advantage -InTouch development -InSQL development and use -Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005 database replication -Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005 database installation, maintenance and security -ASP/Web development for database access -Excel macro development -Crystal Reports development -Windows security
