(Radar, Sonar, EW) Location � South West England Salary � To �45K - �55K The Background: As a leading company delivering advanced systems and products for demanding environments, this exciting and forward thinking company continues to enjoy substantial year-on-year growth. They are now looking to recruit a Signal Processing Expert to assist in the development of the company�s radar, sonar, communications and EW capabilities. The Role: You will enjoy an exciting and varied position, in which your principal responsibilities will include to: Undertake research and development into radar, sonar, communications and EW systems. Undertake the responsibilities of Project Manager. Undertake the responsibilities of Bid Manager. Provide managerial and technical support to other bids and projects as directed. Promote the company brand and reputation in accordance with the marketing strategy. The Person: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge in the field of signal processing, to include understanding of at least two of the following Defence areas: radar systems, in particular synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, sonar, communications and EW. You will have a good understanding of sensors and related systems and a broad understanding of Defence sensor and surveillance systems.
