An opportunity exists for an EMC Engineer to join a leading defence client in Hampshire. Candidates MUST have experience of EMC Engineering from the design stage, but will also work on EMC and Environmental Test.

An EMC Engineer is required to carry out both design advice and EMC Test / Qualification activities. The client is a leader in the field of ruggedised electronic technology development for the military and defence industries. Working in a small team you will be responsible for ensuring products are tested to rigorous EMC and environmental standards including MIL standards.

This will involve the EMC Test/Qualification Engineer preparing test plans and procedures, performing EMC and environmental testing utilising both internal and external test houses. The EMC Test/Qualification Engineer will provide advise on the EMC and environmental design including component selection, resolving EMC and environmental issues on prototypes, performing EMC testing and electrical safety testing.

Experience of Environmental test would be an advantage but isn't essential.
