One of the world's leading companies in advanced medical treatment technology, is expanding it's R&D function with the appointment of an Electronics Development Engineer to join their existing team.
As an established electronics design engineer, you will work alongside other specialists in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and systems engineering to deliver electronics solutions for a safety critical medical treatment application.

You will be expected to demonstrate a substantial period of work experience in most of the following areas;
+ Design of new and complex electronic systems from systems concept through to prototype and completed product.
+ Control systems theory and application
+ Analogue and digital design including Altera FPGA and PIC micro controllers
+ PC platform integration awareness
+ Power supplies, preferably high voltage
+ CAN bus communications
+ Safety critical design and engineering principals

Education
+ 2.1 or higher in an electronics subject based degree from an accredited university
+ MSc or PhD electronics qualifications are particularly sought after
+ Chartered status or working towards Chartered Engineer status
