Senior Software Developer position with a successful manufacturer of specialised computer graphic systems for professional television. The company has a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence within the Broadcast Industry. We would like to hear from Senior Software developers with significant development experience using .NET, C#, WCF to deliver complex multi-threaded solutions, developing using Visual Studio 2008 and/or 2010. Experience of databases including the design and use of stored procedures and indexes (Preferably SQL Server 2005 & 2008) is also required.

Other attributes of the Senior Software Developer should include an understanding of multi user client server architectures, ability to deliver well architected, high quality, tested code within an agreed timescale, a sound knowledge of software engineering principles and the ability to understand the ethos of a high value product company

In addition the Senior Software Developer will have a degree in computer science/engineering and be highly motivated with a professional approach to work. You will be able to work independently with the minimum of supervision whilst still being a team player and knowing when to seek advice. A willingness to travel both within the UK and abroad to work on-site with clients would be an advantage.
