Our client, based in Royston, Hertfordshire is seeking a Technology Project Leader with proven project management experience with an engineering or physics background. The role will encompass 50% project management and 50% hands-on technical tasks.

The successful candidate will have a minimum BSc (Hons) 2:1 from an established university in a scientific/numerate/engineering discipline
Job Purpose

Key Job Accountabilities
To professionally deliver early stage technology and product development projects delivering thoroughly understood and working technologies and commercially valuable products.

Â-To conduct reviews and evaluate key technologies, and recommend development strategies
Â-To provide a technical lead in the engineering design and development of new technologies and products
Â-To carefully define project requirements and scope
Â-To determine and manage the resource allocation necessary to execute the project, providing leadership and motivation.
Â-To work closely with the Product Management function to ensure product developments deliver successfully to market needs,
Â-To produce and maintain project developments deliver successfully to market needs
Â-To produce and maintain project plans and manage project risks
Â-To travel to collaborators sites (worldwide) as required to execute the project
Â-To be an effective communicator, championing the project internally and externally

Education/Qualifications/Special Training
Â-Minimum BSc (Hons) 2:1 from an established University in a scientific/numerate/engineering discipline
