Electronics Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Instrument / Electronics Technician to work in our Engineering Solutions team, helping to deliver the next and future generations of Tracerco instruments and services.
As an Instrument / Electronics Technician you will be involved in all aspects of instrument design and throughout the entire design / product life cycle. The role is unique and varied including technical support, communicating with both internal and external customers, building and testing prototypes, fault finding and repairs, instrument modifications, improvements and documentation.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of instrumentation / electronic design
* Experience in the repair / modification / installation of instrumentation and / or electronic equipment
* Practical ability to complement academic skills
* Can do attitude - capable of finding and delivering practical engineering solutions in a fast paced environment
* Ability to take engineering concept through to final product
* Capable of producing and following project / product documentation.
* Good interpersonal skills to communicate and develop working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
You will be expected to have the ability to learn how our instrumentation works and to quickly gain sufficient knowledge to allow repairs, modifications and improvements. Any previous knowledge / experience of AutoCad, Solidworks, EMC testing and ATEX approved instrumentation would be advantageous.
