Our client is looking for a talented Electronic [Test] Engineer to work mainly in the production department for a leading UK manufacturer in the security industry. Your main role will be to maintain and improve efficiency of our production test system. You will also be asked to work with the development department creating tests for new products. You will have a minimum of 4 years experience in creating or working with test systems. You will have a good academic background and be able to work well in a small team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain existing test system and repair faults when they occur.
• Work with development in rolling out tests for new products.
• Provide technical input / direction for new product designs from a test perspective.
• Assess overall test system to streamline the way we test products in house and improve efficiency.

Experience required:
• C# Windows application development
• Embedded system design
• Firmware development in C
• 8/32 bit microcontroller designs

Desirable skills:
• Ethernet networks and network protocols
• 2.4GHz RF
• RFID
• SQL Database
• Production test system experience.
