Software Engineer

A great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join an international group specializing in the design, manufacture and support of safety critical automotive systems.

The successful Software Engineer will be experienced in software developing and verifying working as member of a focused software development team within a larger multi-disciplinary Integrated Project Team context. The prime objective of the roles is to create and/or verify embedded software for new safety critical products.

Key responsibilities :
The design and development of software applications, drivers and test beds.
Concept design to meet statutory safety requirements
Production of design specifications, design descriptions and test procedures.
Provide data for customer review and conduct presentations as required.

Successful candidates will have a good honours degree in either Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science with proven experience of developing real-time embedded software solutions in "C" or C++..
Network technologies such as CANbus, TTP, Ethernet
Experience of modelling with UML/SysML
Practical experience of requirements capture and management.
Experience of successfully undertaking software development in a safety critical environment such as automotive, aerospace, medical or rail environments.
