Job Title: AV Noc Support Engineer
Location: Middlesex
Salary: £30K

My client, a large Audio Visual systems integrator urgently require a Support Engineer to assist with the management of the AV Network Operations Centre.
You will need skills in :
Videoconferencing, Cisco, Tandberg, Polycom and Lifesize Videoconferencing Systems.

The role will involve providing technical support to both customers and our network of field based engineers via the telephone and videoconferencing systems.
You must have a high level working knowledge of video conferencing infrastructure and endpoints, preferably Tandberg/Cisco IP as well as a good understanding of network infrastructure and routers/firewalls..
In addition to these technical skills you will have good communication skills and be able to talk effectively to both Government and Corporate clients and enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to provide training and reports on systems and solutions.

Working Duties

*Provide technical support levels in line with contracted SLA's and company procedures
*To assist with the development and implementation of the technical operational procedures surrounding the NOC
*Assist with the development of the NOC monitoring / management systems and help develop the services Portfolio we offer to our customers in line with ITIL principles
*To maintain the technical accreditation's required
*Provide 1st line support for customers IOCOM & audio visual systems
*Provide 2nd line support for customer Videoconferencing systems
*PDI and testing of Videoconferencing equipment prior to release for installation, or post RTM repair

Technical Skills required
3 Years Videoconferencing Experience
Competent in Cisco / Tandberg Videoconferencing infrastructure with a working knowledge and experience of TMS, Gatekeepers, Gateways & MCU's and associated manufacture qualifications
Understanding of VC over IP implementation
A good knowledge of Polycom and LifeSize VC Systems with associated manufacture qualifications
Good working knowledge of IP
Good understanding of network infrastructure
Good understanding of routers/firewalls
System Design, Analysis, Fault Finding & Maintenance
