Digital Design Engineer

A highly experienced and well qualified Digital ASIC Design Engineer is sought by a renowned Consumer Electronics development company working at the cutting edge of new technology.

The successful individual will hold a minimum of a 1st / 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar Scientific / Engineering discipline and will have solid Mathematical skills together with good problem solving abilities.

You will have expert knowledge of Digital Design, VHDL / Verilog programming as well as familiarity with a range of ASIC design tools. Previous experience of or a keen interest in Digital Video technology or Graphics would be a distinct advantage.

This challenging opportunity will enable the successful Digital Designer to work on the next generation of advanced graphics cores for a range of applications including Set Top Boxes, Mobile Phones, Navigantion Devices and PDAs

As a Senior Engineer you must be a competent people manager and will have excellent interpersonal skills as well as having the ability to produce detailed documentation and work to tight timescales. You will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas to assist in the development of new innovative projects.

You should be familiar with working on the full design life cycle from specification through to testing verification.
