Description		Finance Systems Manager required by global company based in Heathrow on the west side of London whose technologies secure the delivery of entertainment and information to TVs, set-top boxes (STB), personal computers and mobile devices. This is the only company which can provide end-to-end solutions to the digital broadcast TV industry. Their complex systems enable network operators and content providers to profit from emerging digital TV technology and other interactive services. You will be working in the Finance & Applications Support team which is responsible for supporting Finance and other corporate, business-system applications. This role reports to the IT Director and is responsible for the implementation and support of business-system applications, and in particular Finance-based applications. This includes leading a team of two Support Analysts. Main Duties and Responsibilities � Project Manage the implementation of business solutions for the Finance department. � Provide relevant analysis and design skills for the implementation and maintenance of Finance systems, including requirements gathering and application selection/design. � Provide consultative services to other business units looking to implement financial products and solutions. � Support and maintain existing solutions - Manage the Finance Applications Support team, to support the business system requirements of the Finance department, and other corporate, business functions. � Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices with particular focus on financial systems. Skills: Mandatory Skills / Knowledge requirements � In depth Finance systems / applications background. � Experience in managing small technical teams, particularly in a support environment � Project Management skills across financial applications implementation � Experience in rolling out end-to-end business solutions � Experience in writing requirements for new solutions � Advanced Excel skills � Testing Strategies � Educated to degree level in Computer Science / Accounting or related disciplines Desired Skills � Working knowledge of any of the following: o General Accounting or ERP systems � preferably Dynamics GP o Analyst Financials (or other Excel-based / BI reporting tools) o TRS - time reporting systems o Expense Management Systems � Working knowledge of financial reporting packages, including SSRS � Working knowledge of financial processes and a good understanding of financial terminology Personal Qualities � Tolerant, methodical, reliable, confident, and dedicated. � A team player, able to motivate others. � Good common-sense attitude with the ability to work on own initiative as required with minimal supervision. � Self motivated and able to demonstrate clear, logical thinking. � A measurable and calm approach to problem solving particularly when busy. � A genuine desire to work with people from around the world Good communication skills both written and verbal
