Applications Support Consultant with experience of supporting accounting and/or financial products - or a background or qualification in accounting for this fast growing consultancy who specialise in financial and ECM software products for the construction industry.
Their accounting product offers a strong alternative to traditional accounting oriented or in house financial management systems and is focused on helping their clients to manage cost, reduce risk and win more profitable work. You will be joining a happy and motivated support team who deal with about 200 calls a week from their client base of over 1000 customers, on a staggered shift basis of 8.30 - 5.00pm or 9.00 - 5.30pm. You will be logging requests, and finding solutions for the clients queries efficiently and effectively via telephone, email or remote connection.
Candidates will have excellent communication skills and a real love of customer service, together with a good knowledge of email and Microsoft Office products. You will have worked in a software support role either with an end user or a consultancy. You MUST have some knowledge of accounting products such as Sage, Pegasus Opera II, Dynamics NAV, Iris Exchequer, Access Accounts, Great Plains, SunSystems, PS Financials, Agresso, SAP Business One, COA, or Coda - either supporting accounting software products, or from a background in an accounts department. You will be a good team player with a flexible approach, and a strong commitment to customer service excellence. You should have good time management skills, and be highly accurate with good attention to detail.
