Description		Trainee Project Manager - Tarporley, Cheshire Salary is commensurate with qualifications/experience My client is looking for a suitable candidate who is interested in the opportunity to take up an entry level position within a leading translation service company. The trainee Project Manager (PM) will support the Client Manager for a high-profile account in managing every aspect of localisation projects from quotation to final dispatch, delivering projects on time, to predetermined specifications, within budget while attaining the relevant skills to start a career in localisation project management. The role will include preparation of quotations, project planning, allocation of resources and the management of a broad range of translation related materials. The successful candidate will be trained in the use of Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tools and our project tracking database. Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and writing skills in English A degree in language studies, translation or similar education or relevant professional experience Good working knowledge of one other language Familiarity with standard software such as MS Office Fast, accurate keyboard skills Excellent social skills to build good working relationships with both clients and colleagues The commitment to ?go the extra mile` Key to success for this position is the desire to learn new skills and hone existing ones in the development of excellent project management skills. You must be highly motivated with the ambition to succeed, both for yourself and for the company, and be able to integrate into a dedicated and ambitious team. Appropriate hands-on training in these skills and software packages will be provided, according to the experience of the successful candidate. Training is a continuous process for all levels in the company.
