Description		Database Administrator, DBA, SQL Server, Administration, Performance Tuning, Capacity / Availability Management, MCDBA Preferred, ITIL, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. A brand new requirement has arisen with a well regarded Beaconsfield based organisation, calling upon the skills of an experienced Database Administrator. The successful candidate can expect to assume responsibility for all aspects of database configuration, administration, security and support in a SQL Server 2000/2005 environment. We are seeking applications from candidates with at least 2 years dedicated SQL Server Database Administration experience, ideally backed up by an MCDBA qualification. You should be confident in your ability to provide 3rd line support for database systems and associated applications and would ideally also have some prior exposure to Citrix, Websense, Mimesweeper or SharePoint although this is by no means essential. In addition to the strength of your technical expertise, candidates should also have good interpersonal and communication skills.
