| Description |
Our client is a leading supplier of business incentives schemes to a very diverse range of industry sectors both domestically and world wide. They are currently seeking to recruit a Software Developer to work within a centralised team working on new software developments as well as the modification & improvement of existing software solutions.
The successful candidate will be involved in writing, modifying and debugging software for web services, writing code to generate web pages, access databases, building business logic and testing, debugging & documenting software. This will be in addition to multiple systems development & maintenance, the development of functional and technical specification documents and the administration of SQL Server (2000 and 2005).
In order to be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate proven experience in the field of software development, database architecture and design and trouble shooting & debugging complex systems.
You will also have experience in the hands on use and application of:
· C#.net
· ASP.Net 2.0
· HTML and CSS using Visual Studio 2005
· Development within SQL Server 2000 and 2005 environment
· SQL Server Management Studio and Enterprise Manager
· SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) and Data Transformation Services (DTS)
· SQL Server Reporting Services
While the salary package is negotiable with experience, it is anticipated to be in the region of £25-30,000 per annum.
