Description C/C++ Software engineer - Cambridge -33-38k Fantastic new opportunity to join a great fast moving company. As a leader in digital television technology the companies primary focus is the development of innovative set top boxes. The company is developing an exciting new range of network products and are looking for someone to join a team and help with the process. Working as part of the software team you would be responsible for generating and intergrating major software blocks amongst various other things. Using C++ and OO design with experience of embedded VxWorks you will ensure proper testing, debugging and verification of the software. Using C++ extensively in this ooportunity would be a great advantage to future prospects and career. Extensive knowledge of C++ is required to start your application. Skills needed for the role are: C++ OOD VxWorks Linux RTOS Understanding of networking and protocols Experience in the digital TV industry Experience of TCP/IP Usefull skills include: Experience in low level API's MPEG DVB C Turbo C++ PRO C++ Starting salary for this role is 33-38k.
