Description		Position: Software Engineer Salary: �30k-�35k Location: Cambridge Job Reference: 017915AS1 Apply to: p.silvester@jamjobs.co.uk The most exciting new advanced technology company presently operating in the UK is looking to add an enthusiastic Software Engineer to its dynamic team preparing for the launch of the most innovative computer technology project to hit the market this millennium, The role reporting to the Test Group Leader will be chiefly concerned with designing, developing and maintaining software to manage the data generated by the company�s process and test systems. Key Responsibilities: � Maintain existing web applications and test equipment software � To determine, analyse and prioritise requirements � Follow company guidelines for software development such that the software can be maintained and supported easily � Document and present results accordingly for reviews Key Requirements: � Experience developing MS Windows Desktop applications using C# Windows Forms � Knowledge of PHP and ASP.NET � SQL queries and database schemas design � Awareness of requirements imposed on developers to build good future proof applications Experience of test-driven development methodologies, object-relational mapping techniques, or developing control applications to interface with hardware devices would be advantageous.
