Description		VB.NET/ASP.NET/OOP/SQL/UML/Silverlight - Developer, Programmer - Microsoft Partner - Peterborough, Rutland, Cambridgeshire My client is an industry leading software house providing a diverse range of bespoke software solutions to an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients within the financial, retail, and automotive sectors. They are urgently looking to add a talented, dynamic and experienced Software Developer to their growing team. the successful VB.NET/ASP.NET Software Developer will have strong commercial exposure developing web based applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, and a SQL Server 2000/2005 database for the back end. Any knowledge of UML design patterns and Object Oriented Programming would be highly desirable. You will have the opportunity to work on a couple of my clients core products on the .NET 2.0 framework including a Content Management System that you will add bespoke elements to in addition to working on a new enterprise e-commerce system using cutting edge technologies such as Silverlight and the new Visual Studio 2008 package on the .NET 3.5 framework. You will be afforded every opportunity to progress your career internally and my client will provide you with the resources to complete Microsoft Certification courses.
