Description		An Oracle DBA is required to work on a prestigious Public Sector account. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Oracle Database professionals to undergo UK DV Security Clearance within an organisation that will offer fantastic development and training prospects along with exciting Project opportunities. The successful Oracle DBA's day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to: provide input to the development, maintenance and support of customer database systems, ensure that the service provided adhere to strict SLAs and quality standards, liase with software suppliers, design/test/implement database monitoring, monitor database capacity and usage, provide technical expertise on Project deployments and assess user requirements to formulate technical specifications that are cost effective. Interested candidates will need to demonstrate proficiency of Oracle in a Production environment including Oracle 10g. You will expertise of: RAC, RMAN, Grid and ASM. Ideally you will have knowledge of algorithms/methodologies for developing, building and configuring a database.
