Description		Installation Engineer (Software / Support) - Alton, Hampshire - Installation Engineer required for financial software development company based in Alton (Hampshire) - easily commutable from Portsmouth, Winchester & Basingstoke. You will be working with a Microsoft Gold Partner with a portfolio of powerful, integrated software solutions / middleware, based in their completely refurbished offices offices in Alton, Hampshire. The client who are a leading authority in the e-business marketplace and have already enabled over 12,000 customers and provide IT solutions to the financial sector in the form of BACS and eTransaction solutions require a Installation Engineer to join their highly successful and busy team. The right candidate will be offered numerous benefits including continuous on site training plus up-training in new technologies, as well as work shadowing to ensure the most is offered and gained from the teams years of experience. Essential Skills:- - Software installation - Networking - PC builds - Windows operating systems You will be responsible for installing and testing software products and then training customers in their use. Successful candidates will have excellent knowledge of all Windows Operating Systems and technologies with some Internet technologies, Networking or IP communications knowledge. Experience of software packages such as Sage, SUN, Accounts, Pegasus, Access Accounts, Exchequer or similar would be desirable, as would knowledge of Citrix, Smart Cards or PKI security systems. Experience in a software installation role is essential as is excellent customer service skills and the ability to solve problems. Any Microsoft Certified Qualifications (MCP / MCSE) would be a distinct advantage. The company offer in return a generous package of 16000 - 20000 dependant on experience, PHI and DIS Insurance + company car.
