Description		We are seeking a senior developer to be working on high profile, challenging projects, developing cutting edge in-house technologies that produce fast, highly scalable web-based solutions. You shall be responsible for developing a custom web platform and cutting edge in-house technologies that produce fast, highly scalable web-based solutions; designing and programming efficient, high-traffic systems and maintaining and improving existing websites and databases as directed by the Head of Development. The ideal candidate shall have experience of leading, mentoring, supporting and training junior developers in order to expand and enhance their skills and capabilities. Essential requirements: * Proven programming experience using Java; * Experience with high-traffic systems * Good understanding of web security techniques * Experience of working on your own initiative, designing and programming complete web or application-based solutions. * Computer Science or equivalent degree; * Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript; * Experience of the development of online payment solutions * Proficient skills using databases, e.g. PostresSQL * Knowledge of UNIX/Linux Only applicants eligible to work in the UK should apply.
