Description		Software Installation Consultant / Engineer - 25k - 30k - Senior Software Installation Engineer required for financial software application company based in Alton (Hampshire) - Commutable from Portsmouth, Winchester & Basingstoke. You will be working with a Microsoft Gold Partner with a portfolio of powerful, integrated software solutions / middleware, based in their completely refurbished offices offices in Alton, Hampshire. The client who are a leading authority in the e-business marketplace and have already enabled over 12,000 customers and provide IT solutions to the financial sector in the form of BACS and eTransaction solutions require a Senior Software installation Consultant to join their highly successful and busy team. The right candidate will be offered numerous benefits including continuous on site training plus up-training in new technologies. The company offers a relaxed but demanding atmosphere with a flexible attitude, creating a unique environment to work in. You will be responsible for providing software installation services at a senior level, this will include installing, testing and training customers on the company's various applications. Additionally you will also assist the installation supervisor in mentoring, supporting and training more junior engineers and reseller partners. The role will be based both in and out of the office predominantly across the south although some travel outside of the area will be expected from time to time. Suitable candidates will posess as a minimum, knowledge of all Windows operating systems, associated technologies and a proven record of providing software installation services at a high level. You will also have knowledge of at least one of the following additional areas of expertise: Networking, Internet technologies or IP communications. Desirable qualities would include a knowledge of financial solutions such as: Sage, SUN Accounts, Pegasus, Access Accounts, Exchequer or similar applications. Having or working towards MCSE / MCSA (MCP) would also be a bonus, as would any knowledge of Smart Cards or PKI technologies. The company offer a basic salary of 25k - 27k + 3,600 car allowance + company profit share bonus scheme, pension, healthcare, PHI and DIS insurance.
