Description		First Line Support / Service Desk Analyst required for well known corporate based in Southampton providing telephone support to over 4500 users - confidence in communications and customer service essential, technical training offered. You will need a good level of customer service background with strong communications and a motivated attitude to support. You will provide first line support for approximately 4500 users with this number increasing - challenging and rewarding role. You will be providing helpdesk support and maintenance for current and new information systems internally. You will also have the opportunity to train new users so strong customer service experience essential. Previous experience in an IT service desk environment ideal and any knowledge of the following beneficial but not essential Lotus Notes, Citrix, WindowsXP and Microsoft Office. The most important aspect is for applicants to be prepared to work on a busy and challenging IT service desk - dedicated to helping to resolve customer issues and providing first class telephone support. Candidates must be fluent in English, self motivated, organised, have strong communication skills both written and oral, and a have a professional telephone manner. Full IT training offered on the job. Salary range 17-21k + bens (25 days holiday, Final Salary Pension after 6 months + free parking) Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
