Description		Software Tester - Petersfield, Hampshire - Experienced automated software tester, testing Microsoft GUI applications for a leading provider of risk management to the telecoms and finance sectors solutions in a newly formed development team. ISEB Desirable Experienced Software Tester / Quality Assurance is required for a newly formed development team created due to expansion. They are a leading risk management solutions company to the telecommunication and financial sectors.Their solutions enable organisations to profile potential and existing customers, to minimize financial risk to their business. They offer comprehensive risk management capability in the areas of fraud, bad debt, customer attrition and collections, from the initiation of service through to collection of payment. The company has a prestigious customer base of over 35 organisations worldwide and has twice been ranked in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table of the UK's top technology companies. The role is to be part of a newly formed development team due to expansion in the company. You will be testing Microsoft Gui applications using an automated test tool and working closely with the software developers in the team. You will need to be able understand the users requirements from a business perspective and to write test strategies for the process. You will be an experienced software tester with experience of automated testing and testing of Microsoft GUI applications. You will have worked with automated testing in a commercial environment. You will understand the test strategies, techniques and issues relating to ensuring a high quality product is developed. You will be able to track software defaults and have excellent communication skills. Experience of Oracle 9i or 10g, SQL and UNIX would be an desirable but not essential. Applicants with ISEB would be desirable as well but again not essential.
