Description Server Technician - Knaresborough

Large Global Company is recruiting a Server Technician with proven experience of working in a high volume data centre and a hosting environment.

Salary £40,000 + Benefits

Ideally you will have excellent client facing skills and previous experience within a large Data Centre preferably within a Banking / Credit Card Clearance industry, in particular Card Payment Schemes – VISA and Mastercard.

You will have a very strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, IIS and .Net applications, three tier platforms, Active Directory and server hardware is essential along with a good understanding of change control and tape back-up systems and strategies within a data centre environment. Additionally you will have good experience of managing and securing of website as well as diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the platforms installed in the Data Centres are supported in accordance with policies and procedures.
