Description

Our client is looking for an onsite AV technician to work within a small team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

General comprehensive education or equivalent, Qualifications – Equivalent to 5 GSCEs grade C or above
A working knowledge of communications and audio visual systems.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Reporting to the on site Team leader
· Provide Service Delivery across site against pre agreed SLA including day to day support of the AV facilities
· 1st /2nd line repairs, locate faults and provide resolutions i.e. fix /loan equipment
· Liaise with and manage relationships with third party suppliers on all technical issues
· Prepare equipment for future events and meetings as required
· Provide support and user training on an individual basis to users at all levels of seniority when required.
· Attend and remain on station for important events where required
· The candidate will also assist the Team Leader to generate reports on a monthly basis
· Required to work onsite shifts to meet requirements and some out of hours will be required when the business demands.
· To initiate continuous improvement programs, securing best practice standards from the internal service base and external industry trends.

Typical activities:
Set up and set down of all presentational equipment (both standalone and integrated rooms)..
· Set up of internal/external laptops to integrated projection and standalone units.
· Operation of auditorium events
· Utilising the internal "map" drive system to send presentations and subsequent dual control functionality.
· Meet and hand over AV presentations to internal/external clients.
· Coordinate/mange medium/small scale live events with multiple presentational feeds.
· Operational delivery of both point to point and multisite VC calls (Polycom house with CMA).
· Liaising with VC contacts both internal and external client to arrange testing.
· Set up and set down of I.P. starfish phones (mobile).
· Set up and hand-over of medium and large scale integrated room audio conferences.
· Operational support of AC/VC bridge calls.
